Do you…
HomeBody Gathering Place is for you!
You can join without a Facebook account to access the member dashboard where you will receive the core mini-course content as well as the related HGP downloads that go to your dashboard (which doesn’t require Facebook to access).
We do recommend setting up Facebook to enjoy the community aspect and additional content (you don’t have to add friends or follow the newsfeed, you can just use it for the group access), but you’ll absolutely enjoy your HGP membership and be able to keep up with much of the content without accessing the FB community, if that works better for you!
Basically we consider HGP a “choose your own adventure” :) — it will be like going to a buffet! It’s all one price. We will offer many useful tools, resources and experiences on a monthly, as well as seasonal and yearly basis.
You can choose the experience that works best for you — community or self-led! Or a combo of the two (we’ll also send invites and add links if we do any live virtual events or Zoom calls).
Yes! The HGP is a community that loves the idea of creating a sanctuary. Whether you have been creating your sanctuary for many years, or are just getting started, you will feel like you belong here. The topics are relatable to anyone who loves turning a home into a sanctuary. The content and concepts will be applicable in many ways. Even if you’re not in a season of home improvement, you’ll LOVE HGP! We’re all about creating a sanctuary for every home and season of life…you’ll find just what you need for this one!
You can absolutely benefit from HGP even with a hectic schedule or limited time! Don’t worry, you won’t feel overwhelmed by time-consuming tasks or obligations.
Creating a sanctuary is a personal endeavor so we encourage you to set your own pace and focus on what’s doable for you each season.
You will have access to a variety of resources, as well as opportunities to participate and learn in every season! You can choose to be involved in seasonal challenges, be inspired by and contribute to the topics we discuss, download printables to use in your home, or all of the above.
It took many detours along the way to figure out what worked for us! Even though my heart was in the right place, I failed in many areas of home-keeping. In fact, it was four homes, three kids, one dog and a lot of home keeping trial and error later when I finally discovered the secret I’d been missing all along.
Armed with a revised vision of what I wanted our home to be, a new practical way to practice simple daily routines and the life-changing joy of embracing seasonal rhythms at home, everything about the atmosphere of our home changed.
Now I could turn my home into the sanctuary I always wanted and do it with less stress. Not only did this new path improve how our home felt, but practicing these new principles transformed how I felt, too.
That’s why I now call myself a HomeBody – over the years I discovered how deeply the state of our home and the state of our mind/body/soul are connected.
In 2007 I began sharing about all things home on my blog The Inspired Room. In 2015 my first NY Times Best Selling book Love the Home You Have was released, followed by ten other bestselling titles all about the home.
My children grew up and my daughters Kylee and Courtney now have homes of their own! This photo is of the three of us at my youngest daughter Courtney’s wedding last summer. It has brought me great joy to be a part of inspiring their own love of home and to teach them all the things I learned along the way.
Whether you’re just starting out like my girls or many years into this journey like me :) the three of us would be so thrilled to have you (and your mom/sisters/daughters/friends!) join us in the HomeBody Gathering Place! Together we’ve designed this brand new resource for you to learn, grow and connect with like-minded homey friends.
The HomeBody Gathering Place is for all of us who long to create a sanctuary.
